In the Wave of Textile Industry Recovery, Antai Textile Forges Core Competitiveness in High-Quality Yarns with Three Decades of Technological Accumulation

Entering July 2025, the textile industry ushered in a phased recovery signal. Among them, the textile manufacturing index rose 3.13% from July 14 to 20, significantly outperforming the Shanghai Composite Index. This performance not only reflects the capital market's confidence in the upstream manufacturing sector but also reveals the industry's strong demand for high-quality and differentiated textile raw materials. In Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, Antai Textile, which has been deeply engaged in the textile industry for over three decades, is becoming a solid force in this round of industrial upgrading with its keen insight into market trends and technological innovation capabilities.
"The recent activity in the textile manufacturing sector essentially reflects the concentrated release of downstream brands' demand for supply chain optimization and product innovation," said Li Xiong, Marketing Manager of Antai Textile, when analyzing industry trends. "We have noticed that high-quality brand enterprises like Xinhe Co., Ltd. achieved a year-on-year net profit growth of 167% in the first half of the year, which is inseparable from their ultimate pursuit of product strength. At the same time, the strategic adjustments of some brands such as RAZZLE have also indirectly confirmed the market's urgent demand for 'precise positioning' and 'efficient supply'." As a leading domestic supplier of acrylic yarns and fancy yarns, Antai Textile was founded in 1993. With nearly 30 years of technological accumulation, it has built an entire industry chain advantage from raw material research and development to finished product production. Its main products, including acrylic yarns, acrylic tops, colored acrylic tops, and various fancy yarns, precisely meet the current flexible production needs of brands for 'small batch, multi-variety, and quick response'.
In Antai Textile's intelligent production workshop, Factory Director Huang of the Production Department showed us its core competitiveness: "In response to the growing market demand for color customization and functional yarns in the first half of the year, we renovated 6 automated production lines, shortening the delivery cycle of colored acrylic tops by 15%. At the same time, relying on independently developed 'dope dyeing' technology, we have achieved an environmentally friendly dyeing process with color fastness reaching level 4.5 or above." This technological breakthrough not only responds to the quality requirements of brand customers such as Xinhe Co., Ltd. for high-end women's clothing fabrics but also synergizes with the development strategies of functional apparel brands like Bi Yinlefen – the latter has seen its margin trading purchase amount grow by over 50% for two consecutive days recently. The market's recognition of its advantages in niche segments has also indirectly driven the purchasing enthusiasm for upstream specialty yarns.
From a small textile factory in Zhangjiagang in 1993 to a modern enterprise with a spinning scale of 30,000 spindles and an annual production capacity of over 8,000 tons today, Antai Textile's growth trajectory is a microcosm of China's textile industry transformation and upgrading. The company has not only obtained multiple international certifications such as OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 but also established stable cooperative relationships with more than 20 domestic listed companies. Its independently developed "antibacterial acrylic yarn" and "memory fancy yarn" have been successfully applied in multiple fields such as outdoor clothing and home textiles. "When the market fluctuates, an enterprise's risk resistance often lies in its deep cultivation of niche segments," Li Xiong added. "Our acrylic product line, with its characteristics of being lightweight, warm, and easy to care for, has seen continuous penetration growth in the middle-aged and elderly clothing and children's clothing markets in recent years. This stable demand constitutes the ballast stone for us to cope with industry cyclical fluctuations."
Facing the challenges brought by the short-term adjustment of the clothing and home textiles index, Antai Textile is actively responding through technological innovation and market diversification strategies. On one hand, the company is increasing R&D investment in bio-based acrylic materials and plans to launch degradable fiber blended yarns within the year; on the other hand, by expanding the Southeast Asian OEM market, it combines mature domestic fancy yarn production technology with local labor cost advantages to further improve the response efficiency of the global supply chain. As Factory Director Huang often says in production scheduling meetings: "For 30 years, Antai Textile has always believed that true industry confidence does not come from short-term rises and falls of indices, but from the adherence to the quality of every single yarn." This adherence may be the underlying logic that enables the textile manufacturing sector to navigate cycles and move forward steadily.
