(Main Text) In the wave of continuous upgrading in the textile industry and iterative consumer demands, a group of enterprises deeply engaged in niche segments, with keen market insight and solid technological accumulation, are becoming the backbone driving high-quality development of the industry. Established in 1993 in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, Antai Textile is a typical representative among them. This enterprise, specializing in the R&D and production of acrylic yarns, acrylic tops, colored acrylic tops, and fancy yarns, has been anchoring market trends for over three decades, responding to industry changes through product innovation and process optimization, and writing a chapter of steady growth in the acrylic textile track.

"Industry reports released earlier this year have clearly signaled that the market size of acrylic-viscose yarns is expected to exceed 30 billion yuan by 2025, with the home textile sector accounting for over 40%, and demand growth in sportswear & casual apparel and automotive interiors also being very significant," said Li Xiong, Marketing Manager of Antai Textile, when analyzing the latest industry developments. This trend is highly aligned with the company's product layout over the years. As an early entrant into the acrylic yarn field in China, Antai Textile developed a series of high-count combed acrylic yarns five years ago, targeting the home textile market's demand for softness, skin-friendliness, and durability. By adjusting fiber ratios and spinning processes, the yarn's breaking strength has been increased by 15%, while maintaining a hairiness rate below the industry average. "Currently, this product has been stably supplied to several domestic leading home textile brands for the production of high-end bedding and home decorative fabrics, with orders in the first half of this year increasing by 22% year-on-year."

In the field of sportswear & casual wear and outdoor equipment, Antai Textile's acrylic blended yarn products have also accurately captured market trends. The "2025 China Acrylic Blended Yarn Industry Report" shows that this niche market has an annual compound growth rate of 8.2%, with functionality and lightweighting as core demands. In response, Antai Textile, in collaboration with the Textile Research Institute of Jiangnan University, has developed a "acrylic-wool-bamboo fiber" three-in-one blended yarn, integrating the warmth of acrylic, the elasticity of wool, and the moisture absorption and breathability of bamboo fiber. Its weight is 18% lower than traditional sportswear fabrics, and it also has UPF50+ sun protection function. "This product was well-received by an international outdoor brand shortly after its launch at the end of last year and has now entered the core supply chain for its 2026 spring-summer collection," Li Xiong added. The company's fancy yarn production line is also making simultaneous efforts. Through process innovations such as Siro spinning and core-spun spinning, products like loop yarns and slub yarns have been developed, providing richer textures and design possibilities for sportswear, with orders maintaining double-digit growth for three consecutive quarters.

Facing the urgent demand for sustainable development in the global textile industry, Antai Textile's colored acrylic tops business is ushering in new growth opportunities. The "2025-2030 Acrylic Colored Yarn Industry Report" points out that consumers' preference for eco-friendly and functional textiles has become a major market driver. As early as 2019, Antai Textile invested tens of millions of yuan to introduce dope dyeing technology, achieving color presentation of acrylic tops from the source. "Traditional dyeing processes consume 120 tons of water per ton of yarn, while dope dyeing technology requires almost no additional water and reduces dye usage by 80%," introduced Factory Director Huang from the production department, standing in the intelligent production workshop. The imported German color matching system in the workshop can accurately mix over 1,600 colors. Combined with the independently developed "low-temperature setting" process, it not only enables the color fastness of colored acrylic tops to reach level 4 or above but also reduces production energy consumption by 12%. This product feature, which combines environmental protection and efficiency, has attracted cooperation intentions from multiple textile enterprises in Southeast Asia, with export orders in the first half of this year increasing by 35% year-on-year.

Faced with the challenge of raw material price fluctuations in the industry, Antai Textile's over three decades of accumulation have become the confidence to cope with uncertainties. In response to possible acrylic price fluctuations in July, the company has established a "dual-track" response mechanism: on one hand, the marketing department has signed long-term supply agreements with three major domestic and foreign petrochemical enterprises, locking in 60% of raw material procurement volume to mitigate price fluctuation risks; on the other hand, the production department continues to optimize processes through lean management. Factory Director Huang revealed that the "blowing-carding intelligent control system" developed last year has increased raw material utilization by 3%, equivalent to saving nearly 1,000 yuan in cost per ton of yarn. "Even in the face of crude oil price fluctuations or geopolitical impacts, we can still maintain the cost-performance advantage of our products through technological cost reduction and supply chain resilience."

From a single acrylic yarn production line when it was established in Zhangjiagang in 1993 to a comprehensive acrylic textile enterprise with 8 intelligent production lines and an annual capacity of over 30,000 tons today, Antai Textile's growth trajectory is a microcosm of China's textile industry's transformation and upgrading. "We have always believed that every trend change in the industry is an opportunity," Li Xiong looked at the continuously operating equipment in the workshop with a firm gaze, "Whether it is the boom in the home furnishing market, the upgrading of sports functions, or the rise of environmental protection demands, what Antai needs to do is to move forward with the industry with more professional products and more solid technology." This persistence is perhaps the secret of this established textile enterprise to maintain vitality in the tide of the times.
