High-Temperature Season Orders Scheduled Until September! Antai Textile Leads Textile Manufacturing with Differentiated 'Treasures'

In Zhangjiagang in mid-July 2025, the afternoon sun was blazing. On the desk of Li Xiong, Marketing Manager of Antai Textile, there were not only the latest industry weekly reports spread out but also a stack of colorful yarn samples just delivered from the production workshop—haze-blue acrylic top and fancy yarn with slub texture, glowing softly under the fluorescent lights. 'The textile manufacturing index has risen by nearly 3% in a week, outperforming the market significantly, but our peers are sending out high-temperature vacation notices one after another,' Li Xiong ran his finger across the headline 'Increasing Operational Pressure on Textile Enterprises' on the screen, then looked up at the nearby factory area outside the window where machines were still humming. 'The reason we can hold on is still those 'differentiated' treasures.'

Walking through the corridor connecting the office buildings, the heat wave from the production workshop hit, but it did not affect the rhythm of the assembly line at all. Factory Director Huang from the Production Department was wearing a safety helmet and inspecting the acrylic top production area. Sweat beads on his forehead slid down his cheeks, but he didn't have time to wipe them off; his eyes were fixed on the color difference monitoring data on the screen: 'The color fastness of this batch of peacock green acrylic top must be controlled above level 4. The downstream brand will use it for autumn children's clothing, which has high requirements for environmental protection and safety.' He turned to the technician beside him and instructed, 'The newly upgraded masterbatch precise proportioning system last week, adjust two more parameters and try to reduce the color difference range to ΔE ≤ 1.5.'

Such scenes have long been the norm at Antai Textile. Founded in Zhangjiagang in 1993, this textile enterprise has grown from just a few acrylic yarn production lines to an industry 'invisible champion' with an annual output of 30,000 tons of acrylic top and 15,000 tons of fancy yarn. It relies precisely on the acute capture of market demand and the meticulous refinement of production processes.

'Look at this set of data,' Li Xiong walked into the workshop holding the newly printed industry report and handed it to Factory Director Huang. 'As of July 3, the national cotton processing rate was 100%, and the sales rate was 94.4%, an increase of 8.9 percentage points year-on-year. The upstream raw material supply is stable. However, the inventory of imported cotton at major ports decreased by 3.08% week-on-week, with total inventory less than 400,000 tons, so cotton prices may fluctuate in the future.' He paused, pointing to the acrylic yarn on the sample shelf, 'Our advantage lies here—acrylic products themselves have the characteristics of being lightweight, warm, and high in color saturation, and the raw material structure is flexible, not entirely dependent on cotton. Last week, an old customer from Shandong added 200 tons of colored acrylic top, valuing that we can help them avoid the risk of cotton price fluctuations, save the subsequent dyeing process, and directly shorten the delivery cycle by 15%.'

Factory Director Huang took the report, flipped to the production data page, and smiled: 'Exactly. In June, our fancy yarn orders increased by 23% year-on-year, especially that 'Cloud Velvet' acrylic yarn, which feels as comfortable as stroking a cat. A clothing brand from Zhejiang ordered 5,000 spindles at once, saying they want to make a winter light luxury homewear series. To rush this order, the workshop changed the original 'three shifts of eight hours' to 'four shifts of six hours', and with the newly added intelligent temperature control system, the machines keep running when workers take shifts to rest. This not only avoids the midday high temperature but also increases the daily production capacity by 12%. Where is the time for a high-temperature vacation? Orders are scheduled until September!'

Behind this busyness is Antai Textile's 32 years of technological accumulation. As early as ten years ago, the company set up a special R&D team to tackle the dyeing problems of acrylic fibers. Now, the independently developed 'dope-dyed acrylic top' process can not only achieve precise matching of more than 1,600 Pantone colors but also reduce sewage discharge during the dyeing process by 80%. Last year, it even won the 'National Green Factory' certification. 'Now downstream brands are talking about 'sustainable fashion'. Our colored acrylic top does not require post-dyeing; the gray fabric is directly woven into color. When customers make it into clothing, the carbon footprint report looks much better,' Li Xiong added. 'Last week, Xinjiang introduced nine new policies for the textile and apparel industry. Although our base is in Jiangsu, the policy mentions 'encouraging the application of differentiated fibers', which is exactly what we have been doing.'

As they spoke, an AGV trolley in the workshop drove past carrying just-packaged acrylic yarn rolls, with a yellow label printed 'Antai Textile · 2025 Autumn/Winter Limited'. Li Xiong watched the fleet disappear into the logistics channel, his tone determined: 'July has just passed the midpoint, and the order volume of acrylic yarn has already increased by 12% year-on-year, and fancy yarn has even doubled. We have really contributed to the rise of the textile manufacturing index. From 1993 to 2025, Antai has taken root in Zhangjiagang for 32 years, relying on 'following the market and clenching the technological fist'. The future? Of course, it is to deepen and refine the acrylic line, so that more people know that Chinese textiles not only have scale but also have the good quality of 'Made by Antai'.'

The sun outside the window is still blazing, but in the workshop of Antai Textile, the hum of machines and the footsteps of workers interweave, playing the summer march of progress belonging to this established textile enterprise.
