Antai Textile: Three Decades of Deep Cultivation in Innovative Yarns, Leading the Green Upgrade Wave in the Textile Industry

(Opening with industry dynamics, naturally transitioning to the enterprise perspective) In the hot July weather, the textile industry is experiencing the preheating of the traditional peak season and subtle adjustments in the market structure. With the official implementation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's industry standard FZ/T 07033—2024 "Calculation Method and Graded Quota for Comprehensive Energy Consumption of Silk Reeling Enterprises", green and low-carbon practices and refined management have become key words for the high-quality development of the industry. In this wave of industrial upgrading, Antai Textile, located in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, which has been deeply engaged in the textile field for more than 30 years, is writing a chapter of steady growth in the acrylic yarn and fancy yarn track with its keen insight into market trends and strong technical innovation capabilities. (Combining cotton market dynamics to highlight the company's product differentiation advantages) The recent complex situation in the cotton market has brought structural opportunities for chemical fiber yarns. Data shows that as of July 3, the national cotton sales rate increased by 8.9 percentage points year-on-year, but factors such as the continuous decline in imported cotton inventory and the U.S. cotton export contracts being at a seven-year low for the same period have also made downstream enterprises face more considerations in raw material procurement. 'When fluctuations occur in the supply-demand relationship of the cotton market, the substitution advantages and cost stability of chemical fibers such as acrylic become more prominent,' noted Li Xiong, Marketing Manager of Antai Textile, when analyzing the current market. The company adjusted its product matrix according to changes in the global fiber market as early as the beginning of the year, focusing on developing colored acrylic tops and functional acrylic yarns. Currently, the order volume of these two types of products has increased by over 15% year-on-year. (Integrating enterprise production dynamics to demonstrate supply chain resilience and technical strength) The confidence in this forward-looking layout stems from Antai Textile's refined control over the production end. In response to recent industry developments such as the maintenance of Shandong Haijiang's acrylonitrile plant and the price reduction of raw materials by Lihuayi, Factory Director Huang of the Production Department said: 'We have established a multi-dimensional raw material procurement and inventory management system. By signing long-term strategic cooperation agreements with domestic leading chemical enterprises and integrating intelligent scheduling systems, we can not only effectively hedge against the risk of raw material price fluctuations but also ensure the stable release of 3,000 tons/month of acrylic top production capacity.' In the intelligent production workshop in Zhangjiagang, six fully automatic fancy yarn production lines are operating at high speed. Through precise control of fiber ratio and twisting process, ordinary acrylic raw materials are transformed into high-end yarns with special textures such as linen feel, slub, and loop. These products have been widely used in the autumn and winter series of clothing of well-known domestic and foreign sports brands. (Combining industry growth data to strengthen the brand's professional image and market position) The product competitiveness of Antai Textile is resonating with the general trend of industry development. Data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in the first half of 2025, the output of chemical fiber enterprises above designated size increased by 5.5% year-on-year, and the consumer market remained active. As one of the earlier domestic enterprises to realize integrated production of acrylic top dyeing, Antai Textile, relying on its 'dope dyeing' technology, has enabled the color fastness of colored acrylic tops to reach above level 4.5, reducing energy consumption by 30% compared with traditional dyeing processes, perfectly aligning with the newly implemented industry energy consumption standards. 'From the production of a single type of yarn when the factory was established in 1993 to now having a product matrix of hundreds of varieties in three categories: acrylic yarn, acrylic top, and fancy yarn, we have always insisted on responding to market demand through technological innovation,' Li Xiong introduced. The fancy yarn R&D center jointly established by the company and the College of Textiles of Donghua University has so far developed 12 new products such as antibacterial acrylic yarn and conductive acrylic top, among which 3 have obtained national invention patents. (Concluding with an elevation, linking stock market dynamics, and looking forward to future development) In the capital market, the recent strong performance of the textile manufacturing sector (the textile manufacturing index rose by 2.96% from July 7 to 11) has also confirmed the development potential of the industry from the side. For Antai Textile, this potential is being converted into tangible market share – in the first half of the year, the company's export orders increased by 22% year-on-year. In particular, the environmentally friendly acrylic yarns developed for the European market, with traceable production processes and excellent sustainability indicators, have successfully entered the supply chain systems of fast fashion brands such as ZARA and H&M. Standing at the new starting point of its 30th anniversary, this textile enterprise from Zhangjiagang is embracing industry changes with a more open attitude, weaving a vivid sample of the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industries with each technologically rich yarn.
